    I have bought the Bellevue theme via Themovation which includes the Meta Box plugin. The Meta Box plugin is no longer updating and says my license is invalid. Am I safe to uninstall and reinstall the (free) Meta Box plugin? Themovation only over six months support so I can’t raise a support ticket with them. Any other ideas about what I can do? I have the latest WP version. I saw a thread about this issue, but it seemed to be more about the warning message, rather than updating.

    Hi @archadaly,

    When you buy a theme that uses Meta Box premium extensions, then the theme author is responsible for providing you the latest versions of the extensions (not the license key). And you can just use them without any problem. However, you won’t get the auto updates for the extensions (because you don’t have the license key). And to get the updates, you have to go to the Downloads page on Envato to re-download them.

    Am I safe to uninstall and reinstall the (free) Meta Box plugin?

    Yes, of course. You’re safe to reinstall Meta Box anytime.

    Thanks for your reply Anh – really helpful! I’ll try both those options and see if it sorts the problem.

    There are so many tickets that I can’t create a new one so I’m having to post here. I purchased a license, but I can’t access it because your website doesn’t send mail. I can’t log in because I have not received a link or a password because your website doesn’t send mail. I can’t create a new password because your website doesn’t send mail. I’ve tried sending you a private message on twitter. I’ve tried posting on Facebook. Now I am trying here. I am feeling very frustrated. If I pay for a license I expect to get a license, or at the very least to be able to get some support.

    I am having the same problem as described buy @dsals above. I sent an email and have heard nothing back. Are you folks still in business? How do I ask for a refund on my recent purchase?

    The email might come a little later and might be in the Spam folder. Please check there as well.
