Meta Box above the Title

  • Is it possible to put a meta box above the title or at least above the TinyMCE editor? I need a field to be the first thing that a user sees and uses.

    I’ve put the position/priority as high, but its still below a couple of other boxes.

    In fact I am now realising that I need to add this box outside of the form, so that it can perform AJAXX functions properly. So a meta box is not what I need, does anyone know what I can use instead to add an AJAX form above the main wordpress editor form?
