Messed with URL-help

  • So I went into my blog settings and changed the URL (don’t ask) but want to change it back because of course my site’s messed up now…but I can’t get to it through the login–help

    Follow these instructions to set it back.
    Make sure to backup your database before doing anything.

    Ok, I backed up the databse and I got through Changing the URL part just fine…but when I got to the next part where it says “Look for the field that holds your post “guid”. It is usually called guid, but it may have been changed. Write it down”…I see that field but there is nothing in it…

    All you needed to do is the changing the url part don’t worry about the rest.

    Jeremy–ok, but my blog still isn’t coming up. I cannot login….what am I missing?

    Your directory structure is all screwed up, if you want wordpress to come up whenever you visit the main website the files in the wordpress folder need to be in the root of that folder. As it stands now you’ve got https://youniquepaper.com/wp/wordpress/. Move all the files from the wp/wordpress folder to the root directory. Then try again.
