Messed with the code, reinstalled theme, still messed up-Help!!!

Sorry to hear you’re having some theme trouble right now. I’d suggest that you install a fresh version of Charitas Lite to get things back to normal.

The email notices? I reinstalled it though the wordpress dashboard itself.

are you using managed hosting?

I do not believe so…. I am an urban planner and we set up a site for each of our projects. My boss does it somehow and then hands it over to me to pick a theme, add our posts, etc.

I would enable Twenty Fifteen, delete Charitas Lite entirely and then install Charitas Lite another time. Once completed, activate it. See what happens.

If your problems continue to persist, I would post over on the Charitas Lite support forum as well.

Thanks. I have done that at least 10 times both yesterday and today so far, I will post over at the support forum you suggested. Thanks for the help!

If you using any cache plugin then clear the cache. and if you using wordpress managed hosting then find the clear cache button and if still your problem not solved then backup your site to later date.

Does Twenty Fifteen work just fine? You didn’t edit anything outside of the theme directory, did you?

2015 works just fine. I went into the edit, clicked footer.php to the right, and that is all I edited. Is that the directory?

I changed colors and things through the customizer as well.

I just tried to reinstalled one last time and hit “restore defaults” and that did the trick! Thanks so much for you help!
