    Hi,
I am new to WordPress. I just got my web site up and running and tried tweeking my front page (a static page) layout by following some instruction given in “WordPress for Dummies” using the Editor link on the Appearances menu. I was instructed to select “Page Template” and delete the line “<?php get_sidebar () ; ?>” in the editor and click on Update File.

Now when I open my web site I get “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘)’ in /home/rphohow5/public_html/wp-content/themes/twentyten/page.php on line 31”

Any ideas on what I’ve done and how I might fix this.

    Thanks
