    Hi,

I am using WordPress 4.0 in Spanish, Contact Form 7 4.0.1, theme Twenty Thirteen 1.3, running on a share hosting environment that uses WHM/cPanel 11.44.1 (build 21) on CLOUDLINUX 5.10 x86_64 standard, Apache 2.2.27, PHP 5.2.17 and MySQL 5.5.40-36.1-log, I have not modified any of the plugins I have currently installed, they are all “as is”. Haven’t even modified WordPress core files, just made some customizations to the CSS file.

That being said… I have installed Contact Form 7 and forms are working, they get send via e-mail. I also installed Contact Form DB plugin, as I need one of my forms to be saved to database. Couldn’t get it to work. I have been working with Contact Form DB author to see what could be wrong. He provided me with instructions to set an error log for his plugin, but I get no errors whatsoever. I have tried several things and nothing worked. He finally told me that he thinks Contact Form DB is not being notified by “the hook”. He told me to verify spam filter settings. I do not have any spam filter plugins (no Akismet, not even a CAPTCHA) and I do get the e-mails, so that shouldn’t be the problem. So, being unable to get Contact Form DB to work, I went ahead and installed Flamingo. I am surprised to say that Flaming is not working either! I still get the messages submitted via e-mail, but Flamingo doesn’t show submitted messages! So I assume there is a problem at Contact Form 7 level, something is not working that prevents any form-to-database plug in to work. Any ideas? I can provide you with loggin details if necessary.

Sorry for the long message, but I’m trying to be as accurate as I can.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

The site is at https://festivalgritalo.com/ Do you need login details? Is there a way I can send them to you privately?

    Thank you

Try temporarily deactivating all plugins other than Contact Form 7 and Flamingo, then test submitting again.

By the way, which version of Flamingo do you use?

I will deactivate all plugins to see what happens.

    Flaming version is 1.2

I have deactivated every plugin, except for CF7 and Flaming, and didn’t work. Just in case, I also tried deactivating Flaming and activating Contact Form DB, didn’t work either. It’s driving me crazy.

What is seen in Flamingo’s admin panel?

    Thread Starter Ale

    (@aleloiacono)

In the address book, I can see the mail address that received messages from the form.

On the Inbound Messages it just says “No elements found” (or similar, it’s in Spanish really).

Seriously weird. I have no idea what is happening.

If possible, try checking the PHP error log on your host. There might be some clue.

Also, try re-installing Contact Form 7, just to make sure.

I asked the server support for the error logs, they gave me this address: https://festivalgritalo.com/errorlogs but I don’t see any entry that may refer to this issue (but I’m not a developer, so I don’t know).

I explained the issue to server support, they told me they have disabled mod_security for my account. I tried again, still not working.

I also generated this PHP info file just in case you wanna take a look to PHP config: https://festivalgritalo.com/info.php

I couldn’t find anything relating to the issue in both errorlogs and info.php. As it’s not recommended to share those info publicly, please remove them.

It might be possible that you can see something in the debug mode.

Have you tried reinstalling Contact Form 7?
