Messages and Notifications too large to scroll to CLOSE

    I created a message to the group in buddy press and it is appearing when you log in to the site and completely covers the home page or any other page. The message was a set of instructions that was fairly long. I cannot scroll down to close the message. I did delete the original message, but it still appears on the site.

    I do not want these notifications to show upon login. I would like the members “notified” that there is something to read, but I don’t want it to automatically appear on the screen.
