The problem could be related to the way the child theme was configured using the plugin, as some plugins “lock” the child theme to specific scripts that were used in the parent theme at the time of the configuration (which can also cause other problems in the future as well during updates).
Do you have any websites using the default OceanWP child theme from before and do you experience the same problems?
I noticed that if you use “Install the official OceanWP Child Theme” – the same problem.
I also see an error in the OceanWP Panel admin panel –
