Message text link color html

Hello,

I was using the following html code the message box under settings to change the Link text color to white. It seems this syntax is not being accepted. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you

html I like to use:

<span style=”text-decoration: underline; color: #ffffff;”>PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY FIRST </span>

When I click save button on settings, it changes back to :
href=”https://www.mysite.com/availability/”>PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY FIRST BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE.
