Message send very slow

It is also working slow on my test site so i have notified the plugin developer about it so that it can be fixed.

This issue will be fixed in the future version of plugin.

Messages are updated every 5s, so 2-3s is not slow. This is done to prevent overwhelming your server.

As @code Master has said, this is intentional so as to not overload your server, as any quicker if there are a large amount of users posting could easily bring down your server.

Same here, Chat performs extremely slow. I hit enter to send and have to wait about 10sec until the message appears in my chat window … than again some seconds til it shows up on my second device. No way to chat like that ??

The plugin actually relies on your server and the speed will vary based on the resources available there.

As an example of the plugin running optimally, you can try it out on a local machine (I use AMPPS myself) and you should see that it runs quite nicely.

How well it runs really does depend on the server you’re running it on.
