Message in error.log file

  • This message in error.log started in December and has appeared every few minutes since. I discovered this when I had an internal server error 500.
    [12-Dec-2017 11:56:53 UTC] PHP Warning: Parameter 2 to wp_hide_post_Public::query_posts_join() expected to be a reference, value given in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286
    It appears to be related to this plugin, which I installed in October. I’ve now deactivated the plugin and the messages have stopped. Any ideas?
