Message guests after event

    I want to send a message to all event attendees for an event that happened last week. When I go to “Send Mails” and type part of the event name then it says “No results found”. So I’m not able to send emails from there.

    I tried going to “Events” and found the past event, but there’s no option to message guests from there.

    Is there any way to email attendees of a past event?

    It is not possible in the Send Mails interface directly, but if you go to your bookings (approved or pending) you can search for your past event and then select the bookings to which you want to send a mail.

    That’s great, thanks Franky. When I select all bookings and choose to send mail to them it opens the “Send Mails” page with the list of people to email.

    Will they be emailed individually so they can only see their own email address in the “To:” field, or will it send just one message with all attendees in the “To:” field? It would be bad to send an email where everyone can see all other guests’ email addresses so I just wanted to check with you.

    In all cases EME sends individual mails.

    Perfect thanks, so there’s no chance of making a mistake!

    One last thing, when sending emails in the “To:” field it seems to put the name as “Surname FirstName”. Is there a way to change this to “FirstName Surname”?

    Currently there’s no way to change this. I’ll see if I can make that into an option in a future version.

    Thanks Franky, it would look a lot better as here in the UK it’s normally first name then last name.
