    Hello,

When my user comes into my site the first time he is asked to install the Web App. If client in “No” he is never asked for again. If he installed Web App on his smartphone and then uninstalled it he is also not prompted to install again.

Is there a way to force the installation request to be sent?
If I clicked “No” the first time it will always be prompted when visiting my site again?
If it uninstalled the Web App it will be prompted again when accessing my website again?

Any way to create a button in the footer to do this function?

I am using cache plugin …

  • Hi,

Good day! Right now there’s no functionality available on our plugin to add a button or to prompt the Add to Home screen again. Generally, the Add to Home screen occurs only once if the website meets the criteria of PWA and we cannot share it as link to forcefully install it .

If the PWA is uninstalled, the Add to Home screen prompt won’t occur till the user clear the browsing data. (If the user uninstall a app, there’s a probability that user didn’t liked the experience). As for providing a better User Experience the prompt is fully controlled by browsers, if the user want to add the PWA again they can easily add it by tapping the browser menu. We’ve some plans to work over it and will update you once we made any progress on it.

    Best Regards
