    I have a message on the Payments page and another on WooCommerce asking to “connect” and “finish set up.” I already did this when I started building the site. The report from the Status shows I’m disconnected. What am I supposed to do?

    WooPayments includes several tools to help you test things out in your store before taking actual payments.?

    Just to clarify, when you started building the site, were you building it on development/staging environment, or the live instance itself?

    I’ll link to the related documentation here, on the available modes (test, dev, safe), other than live, for reference.

    If none of the modes mentioned above were used, feel free to click on the Finish setup button on the live site, and start accepting payments.

    I built it on the live instance itself. I remember completing the sign up process on Stripe and providing all the information about banking. Why am I getting this message now since I was connected before? Additionally, I don’t have a WordPress account since I’m on a hosting site.

    The Status shows I’m disconnected, doesn’t it? What does this mean?

    The site’s System Status Report (SSR) currently reveals that WooPayments is not connected, correct.

    How possible is that you went ahead with completing setup for Stripe, instead, when building the site, perhaps?

    Let’s zoom out for a moment. WooPayments is built in partnership with Stripe, our payments processor. This means that, during the signup process for WooPayments, a special kind of Stripe account will be created for you, called a Stripe Express account.

    It is not possible to use an existing Stripe account with WooPayments. Thus, my inquiry on having set up the Stripe, instead, when building the site.

    See, you’d be accessing Stripe accounts in both cases, just not the same type of account. I’ll also link to this documentation section, for reference.

    Woo.com uses a WordPress.com account to log in. Connect and access both sites and accounts with one login/password. Linked here are further details on this.

    Bluehost, in your case, is the hosting provider for your www.remarpro.com site. More on that here.
