Message email notifications come in days late

I have define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, ‘true’);

I am calling wp-cron.php every minute through crontab. All actions on worpdress and other plugins are working immediately excep the email from better message notifications.

Better Messages does not sending email immediately, it’s doing it with wp cron and if you are saying that it’s not working for you, but there is a lot of other websites where it’s working properly – there is definitely something wrong in your website and not in better messages plugin. I’m definitely not able to guess what is wrong at your website.

Did you installed wp crontrol plugin and ensured that your wp cron jobs are executed properly? Also what are your notifications settings in Better Messages settings?

Can you tell me the relevant options?

I see a send notification every 15 minutes – what is this?

Send notification 15 minutes after use is offline – i assume this is email?

Also is there a way to disable email notifications?

Hi there!

To disable email notifications, you can set Send email notifications to every 0 minutes.

Did you checked if your wp cron is working properly? Please provide screenshots from Wp Crontrol .

WP Control is working properly.

Could it be because the user clicked stayed logged in. And was logged in for 2 weeks and the emails only go out after they logout?

Is the notifications not sent if the user is logged in?

Yes, if the user is online at website, it does not sent

Ill just turn it off. But i do not see “Send email notifications”
