Installed yesterday and I’m sure everything will be fine. However, the 410 message on mobile is a small 410 gone in top left corner. On desktop: 404 in lower left corner when I’m logged in to WP, nothing when I’m not. Have only done one deletion, page noted. I’m sure it’s something on my end – help will be appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Bill,
I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking. Can you maybe add a screenshot to illustrate the problem you’re seeing?
    Thank you,

    Hi @chipur,

Please take a look at the FAQ section:

The default message is a simple plain text message that reads “410 – gone”. This is because many people want to minimize the bandwidth that is used by error responses.

If you want to customize the message, just place a template file with the name 410.php in your theme folder, and the plugin will automatically use that instead. Take a look at your themes’ 404.php file to see how the template needs to be structured.

I hope this answers your question. Please don’t hesitate to reopen the issue, otherwise.

Thanks for your reply. Can’t figure out how to upload a screenshot from my phone because of this block nonsense. So if you’ve looked at the page and that’s it, then that’s it. Appreciate it…
