I was told to post this here. I worked on WP sites for a client seven years ago. I’m now working for another WP client.

The home page – when you edit it – says to use Cornerstone but also Elementor. It’s like there are two sections – one for E and one for CS. The original page title name was Home – Front Page.

I went in and used CS first and it worked great. That was four days ago.

I then went back into it as I was trying to figure out how to update the slideshow. The people who set this site up five years ago left absolutely no documentation when they left so I’m feeling my way around.

Because I couldn’t find a way to update the slider in CS I clicked on Edit in Elementor, found that that is not how to update the slider either, and got out, making no edits.

When I went back to look at the live page though, the page elements slide to the left and right when you scroll down and up on the page in the browser. It didn’t do this before.

In addition, Elementor magically added the word Elementor to the title so now it says Home – Front Page Elementor.

I have no idea how to fix this and what I’d really like to do is just restore this page to what it was four days ago before Elementor xxxxx-ed it up.

    Please advise.
