• Love this theme!

    Unfortunately with the WP 3.9 update, and subsequent plugin updates to match this version of WP, there is a problem with Mesocolumn not working with the new text editor updates.

    This issue is probably rearing it’s head elsewhere as well, but I’m specifically having an issue with a fairly common plugin; OptimizePress (text/WYSIWYG editors), that has updated for WP 3.9 and upon clicking to edit text on pages where OP is used the pop up for the editor never appears. Have already checked with OP and gone through testing to determine it’s not on their end.

    I’ve updated everything and checked for any other conflicts of which I can find none. At this point I’m wondering if I can make any changes to the theme, code, etc. to work with and support the new version of WP 3.9 editors.

    Any ideas or help is much appreciated!

    its a paid plugin so i cannot test bug anything. maybe try comment out custom js in functions.php line 253 like this
    //wp_enqueue_script(‘custom-js’, ……………);
    and disable the slider so no other slider js loaded and test if the press plugin work again.

    are you using optimizepress plugin too? or the default wp-admin write post editor->visual mode issue? cause it is working fine to me.

    nope i dont use any optimizepress plugin and no the default is not visual mode. It was fine till the update, its not working since update, i dont understand why :/

    try manual update the wp install, sometime when auto update, some file are corrupt. but only after you disable all plugins and change themes and test if the problem still persisted should you do the manual update.
