    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

To achieve that, you can use the “rowspan” button below the table input fields. That will insert the necessary keyword to indicate that neighboring cells in a column shall be merged.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias

Not sure you can help with this – I want to create a form page on my site that visitors can fill in. However, rather than submit by email as usual I would like the information to appear in a table or similar on a secure page for service providers to access and respond to.

i.e. Helicopter charter customers would enter their requirements into the form, and helicopter companies could log in to the site to see what postings have been made, and respond to them.

Any ideas where I might start with this?

    Many thanks
PS, my site is https://www.heliweb.co.uk and so far I have a basic form at https://www.heliweb.co.uk/helicopter-charter/hire-a-helicopter

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

Sorry, unfortunately, I have to disappoint you here. Something like this is not possible, as TablePress does not have functions to work as a dynamic data store like this. Also, that’s out of the scope and designed use case for TablePress, which wants to give users a way to quickly display static tabular data.

For your project, you should look into form plugins that have a database connection, or even develop some custom PHP/mySQL solution.

    Regards,
    Tobias
