Merge tags button doesn’t work

    Hello Jake,

    How have you been? I’ve been happily using the custom template you made for me a couple years ago. Thanks again!

    I’m having problems getting the merge tags button in Gravity Forms to work with Gravity PDF.
    Specifically, when I go to edit a Gravity PDF form in the settings, the button is darkened out a bit – it won’t even let you click on it.

    I’m attaching a screen shot to show you what I mean, and to hopefully clarify this issue:

    Please take a look and let me know if this makes sense or why this is happening/how to fix it.

    Hi Tony,

    I’ve been keeping well. Thank for asking.

    Sounds like a JavaScript error is occurring that prevents the merge tag selector from opening. If you haven’t already, update all your themes/plugins/WordPress to the latest versions and see if that fixes it.

    Otherwise, try enable Gravity Forms No Conflict Mode and see if that makes a difference. If that fixes the issue, follow GF’s Theme/Plugin conflict testing docs to track down the conflicting software.

    Glad to hear you’re doing well!

    Man, thank you so much for your reply – the ‘No Conflict Mode’ option did the trick!

    I always keep my sites updated, and I had already done the plugin and theme conflict test before I had even asked you, because I know my WordPress lol, but nothing worked there – the problem still persisted.
    I’ll have to play around with this a bit more when I get back from my vacation soon.

    But THANK YOU again for your quick fix. You’re amazing, mate!
