• HEy guys, in the post page of WordPress, is there a way to merge cells within a table? I noticed you can create columns and create tables inside columns but there’s no way to MERGE TABLE CELLS!!

What am I doing wrong here? Do I need a special plug in for this function?

  • Can you give an example please? What do you want to accomplish? I’m not sure what you mean by merge table cells…

Notice when you go to this page: https://www.ragnarokorigin.net/skills/bash/

The table there has four columns but the third row only occupies two columns. I want the third row to go all the way to the edge and cover the remaining cells but the gutenberg editor does not have the merge option in the tables block.

How comfortable are you with HTML? You could create the table separately and then copy the table code into a custom HTML block.

I’m sorry I have never used the tables block. Is there a way you can create your table with it and then use the edit as HTML option to add a colspan attribute?

Yea I guess there is. Would be nice to have this feature by default.
