Merge field updates in Mailchimp not coming through to plugin

    I updated a merge field in Mailchimp – I added another option to a dropdown – and the change isn’t coming through to the Easy Forms plugin on the website. When I create or update a form in the plugin, the dropdown field doesn’t have the new option that I added in Mailchimp.

    I fixed it by following these steps:

    Once the field values are changed on MailChimp.com,

    1. remove the field from your form
    2. update the form
    3. clear the API cache
    4. re-add the field to your form
    5. and save the form again

    Hi @wpuser543,

    We cache all your MailChimp data for an hour so if you’re actively making changes in MailChimp.com you will need to clear the API cache every time.
