Merchant Account ID (USD) Not Working

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are adding a Merchant Account ID for USD, however, it is not saving on your end, correct?

Merchant Account IDs are used if you have different merchant accounts for multi-currency support.

If you want to accept payments in multiple currencies, you can add credentials for different merchant accounts. When used alongside a currency switcher plugin, you can then route payments to the different accounts based on the currency.

You can learn more about Multi-currency setup here.

Meanwhile, can you please share with us if there are any error messages that appear when trying to save a Merchant Account ID?

Thanks for the video, I understand when saving the Merchant Account ID, it is not being saved.

I am assuming you are getting your merchant account ID from Braintree production or sandbox control panel, like this:

1. Log into the production Control Panel?or sandbox Control Panel, depending on the one you are working on.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner
3. Click Business from the drop-down menu
4. Scroll to the Merchant Accounts section

You will be able to see the merchant account IDs in the first column for each account.

If that is not working, I recommend running a full conflict test, please switch the site theme to Storefront temporarily, and then disable all plugins except WooCommerce and Braintree for WooCommerce, check again to see if the issue persists, if not, it means a conflict was affecting the site, and you can then switch back your theme to the original one, and reactivate the rest of the plugins (checking again after each plugin reactivation), until you find the culprit as explained in this documentation:
