Meow Gallery Took my site down

Just realized that I am also using “Gallery Custom Links”. If I deactivate that one and activate Meow Gallery, the site is fine. Once the custom links plugin is active, the site errors out.

Too bad I did not try it before, just spent more than an hour to implement another masonry gallery plugin for my galleries, which was the main reason I chose Weow Gallery.

Anyway I need the custom link feature too!

But I’m afraid I won’t revert back to Weow Gallery when it’s working fine again… Don’t have time to spend changing things to get this site working more or less the way I want it to.

Same problem, commenting for updates

I managed to briefly resolve this by using an update rollback plug in and going back to the previous version of meow gallery. Sadly, despite turning off auto updates, it’s updated again and taken down all my websites that use it. I’ve spent hours on this today and would appreciate an update. I can’t even access my sites now as it won’t let me log in to them.

I pushed a new version of the Meow Gallery. It’s now 4.1.0. It checks for the existence of a function before calling it. That will avoid issues. That function is not that important, but might help in case of the usage of certain page builders or SEO Plugins.

I also did have gallery custom links, missed that one. Since that updated last night I’ve managed to enable the meow gallery again and all is ok.

I will update to 4.1.0 anyway tonight.

I’m not seeing a v 4.1.0, but the update to Gallery Custom Links fixed the fatal error with Gallery 4.0.9.
