(Website is in testing mode, with very little content…)

When I first created the gallery lightbox, the photos were showing shutter speed as 1/30 (for example). Now they are showing (exact same photos) as 0.0333333333333333

The only 2 things that I changed, was I unchecked the focal length. After refreshing, the focal length was gone and the shutter speed still looked normal.

The 2nd thing, was that I editted the meow gallery — removed a photo, added a photo. When I saved the post and refreshed, the shutter speeds were all decimals. And I cant get it back to the way that it was.

I also added a 2nd (new) gallery to the same page (just random photos — again, this website is just in testing…) and the 2nd gallery is also showing shutter speeds as decimals 0.04 or 0.0333333333

Do you know what caused this? Can I revert back to the fractions? …which LOOKS a lot better than 0.0333333333.

ALSO, I noticed that BEFORE it showed ISO, whereas now it is showing the EXPOSURE COMPENSATION symbol, although the actual iso number is showing properly, albeit beside the Exposure Comp symbol instead of ISO

This is definitely a CACHE problem, because when I DISABLE the cache, the EXIF works properly. When I enable cache, the EXIF is “weird” (as described above) and also clicking RESET does nothing.

So please advise how to fix the cache problem and fix the resetting cache problem. Thanks.

Also, for example, when the exif is weird, the word “ISO” never appears in front of the ISO number.

It would also be nice to know where the settings for the Lightbox are stored at. I deleted the plugin, made sure that the directory was gone, then reinstalled the plugin… and all the settings were exactly as I had left them. (For example, I had disabled the “LENS” simply the exif data displayed). I would have expected the settings to revert to default after a delete and reinstall?

Deleting & reinstalling the plugin also did not help with the problem of not being able to RESET.

I would have thought that the setting were stored in the Lightbox plugin folder. I also glanced in the WP database and did not see anything that stood out as relevant to the Meow Lightbox plugin.

    Hey @festusdog! ??

When this issue happens, it’s pretty much related to cache. You can disable or reset it directly inside of the plugin settings.

There is currently an issue that will be fixed soon in an upcoming version: the reset cache button doesn’t trigger the process. You can manually delete these cached values by using a SQL command (or through a database explorer) where the option_name is like ‘%mwl_exif%’.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. ??
