    Hiya,

I am currently in the process of converting my Photoshelter website over to wordpress. I love my photoshelter site but it doesn’t do much that I can’t get for free in wp. Apart from the feature that I love the most….

please take a look at https://www.adamsherratt.co.uk. This is my photoshelter page. The feature that I am trying to replicate is the menu system that changes the background image on mouse over. This menu is present on mobile and desktops. The menu then drives page selection. So its sort of like a slider, but with a mouse over event, and no scroll controls.

Is anyone aware of any plugins that will be similar to this?

    Hello,

There are lots of plugin sliders available specially created for showcasing photographs. If you want to show small thumbs instead of menu, one slider I know from long lists of slider is foto slider of SliderVilla.
    you will love it.

    cheers,
    Rahul

Generally speaking, wordpress plugins are designed for functionality rather than appearance. In your case I would suggest looking for a portfolio theme with similar features. You might want to include the term ‘parallax’ in your theme search as well, you will probably have better luck finding something you like that way.
