Hey, nice work on the plugin, the admin section is nice. I had an issue with utf8mb4 at first, changed that to utf8 and was able to import. I finally get it to go and my menus and a few WP settings are broken just like without the duplicator. Am I jacking part of the process up when I change utf8?(I had to do find and replace this for manual migration too.) Thanks.

  • Only way to know for sure would be to query the menu items. If the menu had utf8 characters in it then that might be an issue if your changing the collation types. Best way to fix collation issues is to upgrade the MySQL server to support utf8mb4.

    Hope that helps~

Thank you for that info, I was able to find and replace the .sql file and reload that one local. Then I fixed a few things and packaged it up and was able to migrate it. One or two little things were still off but nothing to worry about.

Thanks for all your time, great plugin!

Sounds Good… Thxs for the update!
