    Hi there

The settings set in the Menus tab to hide and show menu items for users does not work for users below Administrator. If the user is set to Editor the settings in White Label CMS Menu tab are overridden and the menus are displayed as normal for an editor.

If I hide something that is normally visible for an Editor in WLCMS Menu Settings, it does hide that element for the Editor user. But it does not show menu items that are not normally visible to an Editor.

I have tried resetting to defaults on a new fresh install and same problem persists.

    Hello,

    Sorry for late response.

You are right the current version of WLCMS does not change menu permissions.

What I can advise you is to use the User Role Editor plugin and adjust the permission for the Editor role.
