Menus and media keep disappearing

  • Site working great for a couple of months, then for no reason(no new plugins or major changes, my menus- both nav and sidebar, disappeared-displayed “empty”. All my media disappeared and around 25-30 of my pages moved to the trash. I had hostgator restore my site, but the same problem has happened 6 times now- The same thing every time, from 24 hrs to 3-4 days between what I call crashes.I am using Artisteer for my theme,and latest WordPress. Hostgator has checked and there have been no hacks. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Well not sure if it’s related but there appears to be issues with the Admin Menu area and a white space for all your drag and drop features for page order and display. Still no fix found for some of us. Google Libraries worked for some.
