    Hello,

This plugin is working beautifully (thank you!) except for on blog posts that have multiple categories selected. If multiple categories are selected, I can’t expand the category that has children.

To see the menu in question, click on the link to my site and then click on the left hamburger menu to open the left alt sidebar.

I’ve been thinking it’s an issue with my Advanced parameters. Maybe I don’t understand them correctly, but they’re not working as I expect them to. For example, for Active, I would expect to be able to select the Disabled option but I can’t select it on its own. If I try to select it, nothing happens. If I deselect Branch then it will select Disabled, but it will also select Item. If I deselect Item, then it will reselect Branch and leave Disabled selected. The Opened options are working similarly, where I can’t select Disabled by itself. Again, perhaps I’m misunderstanding how these options work.

I’m sorry if I missed where this has already been covered. I’d appreciate any help you can provide.

    Thank you for your time,

    Erika

    Hi @phoenix2muse

On your /blog/?p=538 page what I can see is that the same menu is published twice, but it can only be added once: https://accordion-menu.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1032-limitation
And that’s why you can’t expand the menu.

You seem to have two sidebars on this page (or there’s only one and that’s duplicated): https://imgur.com/eENUTNb
If you can’t see an extra sidebar that has the exact same content as the sidebar which opens via the Hambugrer menu, then I suggest getting in touch with the theme developers to figure out why do they duplicate a whole sidebar with all its content.

    Hi @nextend_ramona ,

Thanks very much for your quick response. I will look into this. I didn’t (intentionally) add the sidebar twice and I’ve never seen anything that made me suspect it was there twice. I’ll troubleshoot a bit and see if I did something stupid somewhere along the line to duplicate it before reaching out to the theme developers.

    Thanks again,

    Erika

    Hi @nextend_ramona ,

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I don’t think I ever would have figured this out without your help. I found where it was being added in duplicate and got rid of one of them. I’m not clear on whether this is something I accidentally screwed up when I created my child theme or if the issue is original to the theme but I’m just happy to have it working.

    I truly appreciate your help,

    Erika

    Hi @phoenix2muse

Great news! I’m glad you were able to fix the problem. I checked and I can see the menu opening correctly now.
