• I’m using a menu with several submenus and the main items were created as categories while actual pages from submenus were created as pages.

Example: Services (category): Service 1, Service 2, Service 3 (all pages).

Now if I click Services I’m redirected to a blog’s post generic page.

How to make the upper item of a menu with submenus (what I called category, and in my example Services) not clickabe and not linked to any other page?

    Thanks

  • I think you can get close to what you want using ‘Custom Links’.

    • Open your menu for editing.
    • In the left sidebar under ‘Custom Links’, enter a single hash mark (#) for the URL and ‘Services’ for the Label.
    • Click ‘Add to Menu’
    • Drag the new item to the desired position.
    • Click ‘Save Menu’.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Now I’m trying to do the same with WPML and different language menus, but I’m not able to add a custom link in the different language menu.

    Any idea?

    Fixed it.

I tried the same but for some reason it wont work with me.
I dont want you to be able to press the main title on the menu and then go to a page. I just want it to show the sub-menus.

Oeps.. Already got it.. ?? Thnx
