    – Any error message?
    – Check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

Thanks for your reply – I’ve not been able to find a logs folder that has useful information in it – where is it located?

For example, if you’re using XAMPP, log files by default are kept at: \xampp\apache\logs\error.log.

I have ftp access to my site, and I guess I’m not using XAMPP as my folder structure looks different to that. I have a folder in the top level called logs, which holds 4 zipped files, none of which have any useful information in them. Other than that I haven’t found any log files.

Your hosting providers will be able to locate these log files for you.
