• Hei

I’m fighting with my menu since several days now. I have some troubles: not on Desktop but on tablet devices.
Then I found Max Mega Menu Plugin which could maybe save me lots of hours!

First look and it was great.
I finally had a menu which was working on my Ipad… Yeeppee!
Then I decided to test it on a Galaxy Tab.. ??

On my galaxy Tab, when i touch an item with children, it opens and close immediately.
So i just see the children some milliseconds and then these disappear

    Any idea about this?
    Thanks

    Hi root,

Before I go much further down the debugging route, do you see the same behaviour on megamenu.com (the demo menu) on the galaxy tab?

    Hei
    thanks for your answer.

On megamenu.com, i do not have the same behavior but i still have troubles.
for example, the top “documentation” menu doesn’t open.
On the demo menu (menu items, widgets, flyout, icons, images), it works but with a big delay between the touch and the opening of the menu..
sometimes, the documentation page opens when I’m just interacting with the demo menu

(with the Ipad, no problem… it works perfect)
    Hope this will help

new remarks: the background image ( a half blue tablet) is fine on Ipad…. On the galaxy tab, i just see the central part… i do not see the left and right side.
From the left of the “M” in “menu items” and from the right of the Twitter icon, the background image is cutted

    Hi,

Thanks for checking that. Is it possible that the galaxy tab is just so slow that the documentation sub menu appeared after a long delay?

What Galaxy tab is it? Is it fairly new, or old? Have you tried installing the Chrome browser on your galaxy tab and trying that instead? (The built in browsers in older versions of android are not very good)

Please can you also send me a link to your site? Did you try https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/removing-residual-styling/ ?

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hei Tom

That’s was a good idea to check with Chrome.
The behavior is OK on Chrome with the galaxy Tab. (yes it’s an old one ?? )

About a link to my site, nothing is ready to share… “still under construction” .. I still have lots of working hours before publishing.

When a bit further advanced in my work, I will test it (with mega menu – free licence) on desktop (IE, Chrome and Mozilla), Ipad ( Safari, Chrome),Galaxy Tab ( built in browser and Chrome), old Samsung mobile and a not so old Windows Phone. If any troubles, I’ll allow to come back to you for any remarks/comments

    Regards,
