Try with this CSS code:

  max-height: unset;
}

#sinatra-header-inner .sinatra-nav>ul>li {
  margin-left: 0;
  margin-right: 24px;
  line-height: 1;
}

You can add the code into the Additional CSS field in the Customizer.

Yes, that should work fine. I’m really not sure why it isn’t working on your end.
