    Hi, I’m using Astra Theme with Elementor Page Builder. My home page loads a layerslider which sits over my sub menu items. I have the following CSS code and have set my Z-Index to 1. Please help!

    .ast-page-builder-template .site-content #primary {
    z-index: 1;
    }

    @media (min-width: 700px){
    header#masthead{
    position: fixed;
    width: 100%;
    }}

    Hi tanielstrydom,

    I think you must have found that in another thread from yesterday, so thanks for searching the forums before posting!

    Did you also try adding a z-index to the section that holds the menu?

    It may also be worth trying to add a lower z-index to the section that holds the slider.

    If you are still stuck please post a link to your site so I can take a look.

    Yes, I added z-index to CSS and to main-menu settings. I am using the theme’s menu – not elementors. My site is not live yet – I’m still working on it.

    Hi tanielstrydom,

    Ok, please let me know once it is online and post a link here. I’ll need to use browser tools to inspect the site html and CSS to work out exactly where the z-index needs to be applied.

    Ok, I have made it live so you can check it quickly for me. Please let me know as soon as you are done.

    Hi,

    You need to use Elementor to add a z-index to the section that contains the LayerSlider shortcode:
