Menu Styling – menu items a:active on cildren

  • Hi,

    I am new to wordpress, even though i have some understanding of css (and very little php) i cannot figure out the following:

    Items on my front Page act as a news-type blog.
    If i click into one item i would like to have the menu item in the header (e.g. NEWS) to stay selected when i am in the blog post itself , to see what super-category it lies within.

    How could i make this work?
