Menu sidebar in Admin panel is gone – wordpress 3.8

  • I just logged into one of my sites this morning and the menu on the left hand side of the page is now missing. I’ve checked in both Chrome and Firefox and the issue is the same.

    Any suggestions?

  • I did that and it fixed the problem also, but the problem eventually came back. Weird thing is it happened on an older version of WP also, on the same server. What hosting company are you using?

    I’m on Hostgator.

    This same thing happened to me just today/last night.

    Client is pretty angry. Deactivating plugins doesn’t do anything. I guess I can try reinstalling but I’d prefer that it’s the absolute last resort.

    Has anyone figured out a fix for this? Same issue has been happening on my site since Monday. Running 3.8 as well.

    Understood. Since this is the same issue though I thought it would be confusing to post a redundant issue. I’ll create a new topic.
