Menu sidebar in Admin panel is gone – wordpress 3.8

I did that and it fixed the problem also, but the problem eventually came back. Weird thing is it happened on an older version of WP also, on the same server. What hosting company are you using?

I’m on Hostgator.

This same thing happened to me just today/last night.

Client is pretty angry. Deactivating plugins doesn’t do anything. I guess I can try reinstalling but I’d prefer that it’s the absolute last resort.

Has anyone figured out a fix for this? Same issue has been happening on my site since Monday. Running 3.8 as well.
