Menu problems.

Bringing your XHTML and CSS up to code may fix the problem. At the very least, it will make diagnosing and fixing the problem a heck of a lot easier. Your XHTML problem is probably not the issue (you just have to close the open img tag). But, your CSS problems could be causing your trouble.

It’s likely a float issue with your content and menu divs (in that, neither are set to float left/right). Setting both to float will cause other problems, though, specifically with your footer.

Even so, macmanx’s suggestion is a good one to follow up on first.

The code is up to snuff now., and I tried the float properties. Although that worked as far as placement, it certainly did move the footer up with the menu. So not there yet. I will try some things with the footer and see. Thank you for your responses.
