Menu problem – open link in new window/tab

    One of my menu items is a list of links to useful external sites.
    When adding these links to the menu I should see a tick box with the words ‘open link in new window/tab’.
    I cannot find this tick box/option and if I open any of the links they take over the website window.

    how can I locate this option?

  • Click “Screen Options” in upper right-hand corner. This should reveal a group of check boxes including one that says “Link Target”. Check this and it should appear as an option.
