• I have my menu set up so you have your parent page then sub pages/sub items below them in a dropdown box. The problem i am having is that if someone just clicks on the parent page it brings them to a part of the website which hasn’t had anything added to it. I was wondering is there a way you can make the parent link either a dead link so it doesent take you anywhere or is there a way to do it where if someone clicks on the link it takes them to the first sub link.

Hope that made sense to people

    thanks

Follow closely, the steps below, and you’ll get the result you’re looking for.

    1. dashboard > menus
    2. Replace the regular MAIN menu-items by ‘Custom Links’
    3. URL: remove https:// from the inputfield!! and type #
    4. ‘label’ type a label-text e.g. ‘Products’
    5. click ‘add to menu ‘
    6. add the ‘regular’pages to the menu
    7. drag ‘n drop the sub-menu-items into place by dragging them slightly to the right
    8. save the result

Result: only the submenu-items will take you to that item when clicked.

    Tip:
Do one item first to get the hang of it.
When the result meets your needs, do the rest of the items
