menu out of box sometimes

    Hi all,

    I will try to explain what is happening on my site sometimes. Have done some searching but can’t find it.
    When you open the homepage the menu is out of the box that means that the header menu is vertical with all of its content, even the two pictures (news and sale) below eachother instead of next to eachother. Everything has the latest update and i am using elementor, which is not the cause of all this. I found some warnings in dev tool and its related to the webkit of astra . for example the box pack is deprecated. I guess that is the problem, because when i refresh my homepage everything is allright. So i want to change this webkit so i works properly. But i can’t find how to do it. I am not a professional but if someone could give me a hint? I would be thankfull.

    It would helpful to understand you better if you can share a screenshot of how it looks. However, I suspect that it is related to the cache. So, if you face the same thing again, please try clearing up the site cache and see if it does the trick.

    Anyway, at the moment I write down this response, I can see your site is working fine.

    First, thanks for your reply. The cache is regularly cleared. But the thing is after refreshing it will turn up. foto one is what i noticed from the deprecated box. foto 2 is the one that appears sometimes

    Thanks for the screenshots.

    I noticed that you are using WP Fastest Cache plugin and I know that this plugin has a feature to exclude JS file. What if you exclude the following JS files?

    wp-content/themes/astra/assets/js/minified/frontend.min.js
wp-content/themes/astra/assets/js/minified/frontend-pro.min.js

    See if it does the trick.

    I excluded them. Result 50/50

    I work with chrome and firefox because of the differences. Deleted the cache and browser in firefox….it seems to be allright. However in chrome the problem stays. I know that chrome takes a lot more time to handle an update. But i will give it a day. Don’t you think is has something to do with the deprecated things? Just guessing

    Thanks for the update!

    What if you clear the cache then completely disable the WP Fastest Cache plugin? If you still face the issue, then this is something else than the cache. I am still sure this is cache-related, though.

    Hi,

    So… it looks like it was the cause….it didn’t happen again after I deactived the cache plugin. Never thougth to look in this direction , but you are the professional. :-). I will update tomorrow again, if it stays away. Now searching for a good cache plugin!

    Anyway, I just would like to share that I also personally use WP Fastest cache plugin. One thing that I love most about this plugin is the simplicity.

    After years using Astra theme along with this plugin, I never face such an issue as you did. I faced broken layout issue a few times and clearing the site cache fixed it. However, it happened only after I did update on my site. And I would say this behavior is normal. Even there’s one or two caching plugin that will notify you to clear the cache after you update, a plugin for example.

    Well, what I am trying to say is that I am sure all you need to do is reconfiguring the WP Fastest Cache plugin, so it won’t cause such an issue.
