• Resolved lanxalot

Hello, I updated Woo yesterday. It created a number of issues however one I am unable to resolve.

I want my products to appear in a particular order on the shop page so I have used the Advanced field and given each a numerical order in the ‘Menu Order’ field.

This worked perfectly fine until the update.

Now the products appear in the order that they were created and published with the most recent product being the first in the list and the oldest product at the bottom. When I use the Sorting tab in the back end view – they appear in the correct order and they were appearing in the correct order until the update yesterday.

Please can you explain how this can be fixed so that the Menu order field works again?

    Many thanks

  • Hello @lanxalot,

That is an interesting situation. If you go to the products list and click on the sorting link at the top, does that order reflect the order set by the advanced > order number?

    order

I tried on my test site and I could reorder these and have it reflected in the sorting. If you temporarily enable the Twenty Nineteen theme, is the sorting correct?

Let me know what you find out and we’ll go from there.

    Thanks

    Hello Con

Sorry for the slow reply. I was waiting to receive your response in my email inbox but it never arrived so I just now decided to come back to the www.remarpro.com support page.

Thanks for your reply message.Hopefully you will still see my reply even though the ticket has just been closed today.

Yes, if you check out my initial message, I mention that when I click on the Sorting tab it shows the products in the correct order.

    Best regards

    David
