Menu order

  • WordPress will not allow me to display the page menu in a different order.

    I have gone into ‘Appearance: menus’ and dragged the page titles in the order that I want them. But when I view my website, the order in which the pages are listed has not changed.

    I’d appreciate help with this.

  • I guess that you are editing the wrong menu in the menu management. There could be many different menus. These are assigned to the menu positions provided by your theme. So I guess you just edited the wrong menu – not the one that is assigned to the position where you want to edit one.

    As I explained, I went into ‘Appearance: menus’ to make the edit. There is only one menu there. So, there is no other way to make the changes.
