Ive been told that the menu doesnt work on mobile for this site, i understand this might be a JS error and if can copy the correct files from the original theme i can correct this?

Ive got access to the original theme, but i dont know what files to copy over to make the menu button work?

  • You should be asking in the theme’s support forum. Menus are handled differently in each theme.

You copied it from somewhere, so go back there and ask about the menu.
We don’t know that theme or its code. We know about WordPress here.

Well arent you ever so helpful!

There are plenty of forums posts on here about different themes using wordpress, so why is this any different?

If you dont want to help fine, dont bother replying.

    Have a nice day

I know it looks obnoxious, but really, these forums are for questions about WordPress, and the themes and plugins in the WordPress repository (each has its own forum, which we direct people to use). You have posted this question in the Networking forum, which is about WordPress and has nothing to do with themes or menus.
You claimed to have access to the original theme, and you would definitely get better answers from the community that uses that theme (or wrote it), than you would get here. Menus really are the most difficult part of a theme, and they are all different, so no generic answer is going to help you.

well i apologise for posting in the wrong forum, i must have clicked the wrong one by mistake but i was hoping that someone would have a general idea where to look – ie a JS issue or something, that is what i was hoping for
