  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Tried that it didn’t work. But I just noticed that all the categories are missing from the navigation. Pages and links are showing up but not the categories

I noticed that the only thing missing from the menu is the categories, pages and links are showing up fine. Now I’m going to substitute all the category with links so at least the menu will show up.

I think it might create a conflict with the Visual Editor plug in or the menu customization of the theme. Also if you try to add new elements to the menu and put them at the end of the list, when you click save it will automatically remove them not saving them.

The plug in that causes the problem is the qtranslate-X
