Menu not responsive when viewed on a tablet

  • Hi everyone,

    I have just noticed that my top menu is not responsive when viewed on a tablet view. But the menu looks fine on the desktop view and on the mobile view but for some reason on the tablet view the menu items are appearing on three separate rows.

    Does anyone know how I can fix this issue as I would like the top menu to be responsive on all devices?

    Hi Tom,

    I tried to post a link but it did not work here.

    I remembered why I first used the Mega Menu plugin. When I initially created some pages for some reason they top menu would not appear at the top of the pages. But when I installed the Mega Menu plugin I could immediately see the top menu and page links. But the whole menu was right aligned and so to centre it I added some padding in the settings. This did centre the menu successfully but it is probably creating the display issue when the pages are previewed in the TABLET mode. The menu in the desktop is perfect and is fine also in the Mobile preview.

    I would love to fix this issue any suggestions would be most welcome.

    Hi Tallmale,

    It sounds like the issue may be a little deeper in your theme, and installing MMM has ‘covered over’ but not actually fixed the underlying issue.

    Please can you try posting the link again, I will need to actually see your website in my own browser to provide any further help.

    There’s no one fix for that (the width of your menu items exceeds the width of the browser window, so items will be forced onto the next row), but there are quite a lot of suggestions here: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/menu-items-wrapping-two-lines/
