Menu not responding on mobiles

    As in title.
    I tried the usual suggestions:
    – stop plugins: I tried the few I have but no effect
    – checked code (Inspect element, Console): no errors (red code) in the script
    – changed mobile menu between slide and dropdown: no change
    – switched theme from Neve to Speculate: menu worked normally
    I swopped themes a couple of times: result is consistent.

    The usual advice at this point is don’t use Neve
    – unfortunately the site looks much better in Neve than any others I tried.
    Does anyone have suggestions on a likely cause and how to fix it?

    I’m sorry to hear that you were facing the issue with the responsive menu of Neve. I have checked your website and looks like you are no longer using the Neve theme.

    If you decide to try Neve theme once again – please provide us the device on which mobile menu was not working and which exact functionality was not responding as expected.

    As in the title, i.e. the menu 3 bars are visible near the top of the screen but the menu fails to open when they are clicked. On a Blackberry Classic when I posted the query.

    This could be related to the loading time of the website, if you click the menu before the page has loaded that part is still not loaded and nothing happens, we were facing this issue before but this should be already fixed with the latest updates.

    Let us know if you still encounter the same problem and please share the URL with Neve theme activated.

    The comment about loading time is irrelevant as the menu does nothing no matter how long you sit on a page and is the same on pages with minimal content.

    I have reloaded Neve (Ver 2.7.2) on a backup of the website (see link). Nothing has changed.

    The menu works fine on the mobile view of the browser and mobile device which I tested on (iPhone).

    Would you be able to provide the exact device model on which the menu doesn’t work (hamburger doesn’t expand)? If you could also make a screen sharing session with that behavior it would be perfect. Thanks!

    Here is a screenshot. If you want to see a session showing the hamburger menu doing nothing you will need to explain how to make one.

    Here is another screenshot showing the menu working perfectly with the GeneratePress theme.

    The phone is a Blackberry Classic running OS Version 10.3.3.3216 (Build ID: 911537) with the default Blackberry Browser version 10.3.3.16.

    We don’t have a way to test it specifically on the device mentioned, I can’t replicate an issue with any iPhone model, any Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Motorola and Xiaomi that I tested (those models available at BrowserStack).

    In your second screenshot, I also see the menu is expanded so expanding the “hamburger” works but items are not clickable? Previously you have mentioned that hamburger doesn’t expand the menu and doesn’t respond.

    As I already posted the second screenshot is showing the menu working perfectly with the GeneratePress theme. Of course the items are clickable. It is only the Neve theme which causes a problem.

    I’m sorry for the confusion about the second screenshot.

    Still, as I mentioned before this can’t be replicated with any device that I tested and there are many devices that I tried to replicate this with (listed those above).

    I’m not able to test it with that particular model of Blackberry, unfortunately.
