    Hello,

I was wondering how I get my posts to link to my menus? Also, how can i remove the Home menu item?

    Thank you Casey

Hi WPyogi, I have just gone through and set up the custom menus but when I click on the menu items they still aren’t linked to my posts.
    Any other suggestions?

Hi – Are those category items in the menu? And are those categories assigned to the posts you want to appear on those pages? Or is that not working?

Hi, Yes those categories are in the menu and the categories are assigned to the posts. But still not working ??

Those menu items look like pages – you need to add category menu items – in the left side of the menu screen – in the category box – check the categories you want to add to the menu – and click add to menu.

Also, don’t use the same name for a page and a category – WP gets confused.

Ok cool thank you I will try that and see how I go.

I really don’t know what I am doing wrong. Still isn’t working

This is what I have in the menu boxes:
    Posts
    Page
    Category

    Is this right?

    Hello,

I still cannot connect my posts to menus. Anyone able to help please?

    Thanks Casey

    Is this your site?

Right now I only see home on the menu?

Yes that’s it. I took the other menus off because they weren’t linking to anything ??

Okay – so go to Appearance > Menu – do you have any menus created there? If so, delete them.

Then create a new menu – in the right side box, click the plus sign or just fill in a name in the new menu box. Then in the left side “Theme Locations” box, select that menu in the pull down.

Then down below in the left side, find the “Categories” box – you should see the two categories you’ve created in that box. Check both of them and click “Add to Menu”, They should then show up in the menu box on the right.

Then you need to assign those categories to the posts you want to appear on those pages.

    See how that goes.

You are the best! Thank you so much. It now works perfectly ??
You know I think i was missing this part “Then in the left side “Theme Locations” box, select that menu in the pull down”

Thank you for your help ??

Also, this theme appears to only support 1 menu.
    How would I add more?

Oh all ok i figured it out.

You’re welcome – the menu set up is a bit confusing, I know. Are you looking for a totally separate menu someplace else on the site?

One menu can have MANY menu items…

EDIT – cross-posted – glad you sorted it – YAY!
