• Hello,

So the navigation menu, and especially the dropdown nested menus, seem to not work very well on Android mobile in Firefox and Chrome. I should say, especially the dropdown elements on the section that says Surrounded by Midlothian.

Is that something with a fix? I don’t see other people having that issue.

    Many Thanks
    Tom

    Hello Akhlesh,

Yes, visually it works. The fault comes when trying to click the links contained in the drop down section of the menu. It seems to not sense the finger press and/or it returns you to the page at the top of the dropdown list.

    Thanks
    Tom

    Hello Akhilesh

Thank you for your attention on this matter. I can see that it is working for you. I have made a little video demonstration. Two distinct events happen on the mobile dropdown menu. 1. The menu automatically closes after 1 or 2 seconds if you do nothing.
    2. The only link that works is the parent page for each of the child pages on that menu item

I can reproduce the bug on 3 different samsungs and a friend experienced the same problem with an iPhone. Here is the video https://youtu.be/sD51kgRtt2c

To experiment, I have removed the project management and contact pages from being child pages to the aspects of sound page, but are still in the dropdown menu, to see if that makes any difference. It would appear not.

I really appreciate the time you are giving me. Many thanks
    Tom

    HI
To navigate sub menu click on caret icon don’t click on the parent menu.

I’ve been thinking about this again. It dawns on me that what seems to be happening is when I click on the menu item (link) that has the dropdown accordion below it, I am taken to that page. Because that link is activated, the dropdown menu appears but then goes away because the menu link for the parent page is activated and away we go. So there is no opportunity for any of the sub menu items to be clicked – the page is already activating the parent link.

Is this possible. If so, is there a way to offset the link activation to the parent menu item?

    Just thinking out loud.

    Cheers
    Tom

    Hello

I just saw that – Click on the caret Icon. You are 100% right. It works perfectly. I just didn’t figure that one out.

Thank you, I shall leave you in peace.
