• In AMP version, I added a menu using wordpress menu section,

But I can see non wordpress links also got /amp/
So I tried to skip those using AMP WP settings > Advanced settings > Exclude URLs From Auto Converting

I added several non wordpress URLs such as:

    https://www.onlanka.com/chat
    https://www.onlanka.com/friends

But it is not skipping those URLs from AMP menu.

So I had to forcefully redirect following URLs using htaccess:

    https://www.onlanka.com/amp/chat ---> https://www.onlanka.com/chat
    https://www.onlanka.com/amp/friends ---> https://www.onlanka.com/friends

    Also my permalink is /news/%postname%.html

So AMP search tools link currently showing as https://www.onlanka.com/news/amp/?s
but actually search tool visible on this URL https://www.onlanka.com/amp?s

Please fix those issues and release an update.

    Thank you

    Hi @onlanka,

If you face any 404 errors or incorrect URL structure after upgrading the AMP WP Plugin to v1.4.1, please de-activate and then re-activate the plugin in order to update the permalinks. This would resolve the 404 errors or incorrect URL structure issues.

    Thanks,

    Hi @onlanka,

Still menu links has this issue,

Go this page and open menu, then mouse over links: https://www.onlanka.com/news/amp/president-leaves-for-singapore.html

Those menu links has non wordpress links but in same domain name, I already added those into exclude list but still it converting in wrong way.

    Eg:

    Correct URL: https://www.onlanka.com/friends/
But it converted that URL into https://www.onlanka.com/news/amp/friends/

This happens even after URL added into the exclude list as:

    https://onlanka.com/friends/*

/news/ is a part of the permalink

    Hi @onlanka,

Would you mind to do the following things at your end:

    Step 1:
Please add following link with www in exclude list in below format.
    https://www.onlanka.com/friends/*

    Step 2:
Please de-activate and then re-activate the plugin in order to update the permalinks. Also reset the permalinks too. Clear server/browser cache before to navigate the website from front end.

    Step 3:
Go to Settings under AMP WP Menu from WordPress Admin Dashboard.

    Step 3:
Click on General tab, scroll down to the section AMP Permalink section, set the AMP URL Format to Start Point – At the beginning of the URL

    Step 4:
Click Save Changes on the bottom right of Settings Panel.

Check If the links in sidebar menu are fine. If not then let us know.

    Thanks,

    Hi @mohsinrafique

I did all the steps as per your instructions, but still having same result.

Also tried with incognito browser window to avoid any cached content but result is same.

Please create this permalink on your wordpress installation and test it.

    My permalink:

    /news/%postname%.html

    Hi @onlanka,

It seems that AMP version on the site is broken. Can you please just delete the previous version of theme and install the fresh copy of latest AMP WP.

Note: Your plugin settings will not removed from the database. As we have done the major updates to front end so it seems that the new AMP Theme (Tez) was not loaded.

    Thanks,
